Daniel Salako, a 31 year old cleaner at Mr. and Mrs. Adegbenga Ademiluyi’s Lekki Phase 1 residence was arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Tuesday for allegedly stealing four gold wedding rings valued at N2 million.

He was arraigned alongside Abdullah Sule who allegedly bought the rings with knowledge that it was stolen.
Prosecutor police officer, Insp. Ingobo Emby, said Salako committed the alleged offence on July 25 at the home of the Ademiluyis, stating that the two gold wedding and engagement rings were valued at N1.5 million and two other gold rings valued at N500,000.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charges, and was granted bail in the sum of N500, 000 with two sureties in like sum. The case has however been adjourned till August 29.
